Fragrant dried lavender wand handcrafted from organically grown lavender in the beautiful Heber Valley. Silky dark violet purple ribbon is woven through 34 stems of lavender, encasing their fragrant flowers within. In Victorian times, young ladies would while away the afternoon weaving ribbons into fragrant lavender stalks, making natural pomanders by encasing the fragrant flowers within their own stems. The wands were then used in linen drawers, to fragrance trousseaus, etc., to help ward off moths and for their delightful lingering fragrance. You too can bring the romance of the Victorian era into your home with lavender wands, which will remain fragrant for years to come. Squeeze gently to renew fragrance. This lavender wand was handcrafted in Heber City, Utah, with organically grown lavender from my mountain valley garden. These make a lovely gift, either by themselves or included in a linen or clothing gift to add the light, fresh clean scent of lavender.
