This book "offers a complete, detailed presentation of 29 different glasswork activities as well as an understanding of glass as a material... for the hobbyist, industrial arts teacher, home craftsperson, artist, camp or rehabilitation counselor... "Here are all the processes and techniques that can be performed with and on glass. The front section of the book deals with procedures and techniques such as cutting, drilling, bending, sagging, blowing, chipping, joining, finishing, decorating, mending, etc. The latter part of the book explains how to use these procedures and techniques to make stained and slab glass panels, Fiberglas objects, and works of art of every sort... There are also methods for repairing damaged Fiberglas, glass mosaic panels and furniture, and for making glass-enameled finishes, mirrors, and proper glazing beads on windows and panels. The book is lavishly illustrated with photographs and line drawings, and contains a detailed glossary and index." Dustjacket has minor scuffs and bumps, creases along the top edge; a few 1/2 to 3/4 inch tears at the edges.   Binding is tight. Light foxing on top of page edges. Contents are complete, clean, and in excellent condition, with no underlining, highlighting, or notes. A very good copy of this hard-to-find text.
