northwest683 Store 14 lbs of Dark Beeswax - Pure Filtered Bees Wax a.imagelink {color:#5a5959;} a:hover.imagelink {color:#5a5959;} a:visited.imagelink {color:#666666;} a.imagelink img.auctionimage { border: 2px solid #5a5959; } a:visited.imagelink img.auctionimage { border: 2px solid #666666; } For sale is our 14 lb package of Dark Bees Wax consisting of 5 - 2lb blocks of pure beeswax and 4-one lb blocks. This wax comes from Buckwheat Honey which is dark in color and naturally darkens the comb. A great addition for someone who requires dark wax for specific projects or someone who wants to expand their products by blending and offering additional colors. The beeswax is 100% natural and comes from a organic friendly area of the Cascade Mountains in Washington State. As beeswax molds are sometimes not completely filled we offer "bees wax plus" a guarantee that each shipment will exceed the advertised weight. If more weight is needed we will add beeswax until the weight is exceeded so if you receive some 1 oz bars with your shipment you know why. Here at The Waxworks we specialize in only pure beeswax - nothing else. Each bar is individually wrapped for easy storage and cleanliness. After pouring the filtered hot wax into the molds you may find a few microscopic specks that rise to the top. Our double filter process normally prevents this occurrence. We initially use a diatomaceous earth filter and finish pouring into the molds through a 25 micron filter. This takes the impurities out of the wax giving you longer burning candles and a smoother finish for any of your wax projects. Color will vary as virgin beeswax, immediately after being secreted and formed into comb, is white. It becomes darker with use inside the hive depending on the type of pollen, darkness of the honey, plus silk, and larval debris which are inadvertently incorporated. Rendered, but untreated beeswax comes in varying shades of yellow and tans. Pure white beeswax on the market has always been bleached or carbon filtered. Attn Soap and Candle makers: Expand your lines by offering more color choices by using light and dark waxes to increase your sales. Many of customers want darker waxes which varys with each lot and have the same filtering process but are rough cut from a large block.
