CONDITION: new, spiral bound, 16 pages, 2007, published by Bramcost Publications ~~ EXTRAS ~~ In addition to receiving an exact unabridged book, we are providing these VERY IMPORTANT items necessary for achieving the best results for these patterns. This information will be bound at the back of your book so you can remove or keep it as you see fit. SIZES: Directions for this book are for mixed *vintage* sizes 16 and 18 -- but we provide size and measurement charts for you to use to be sure your project comes out perfect in the end! FOR OTHER SIZES: We also include: Instructions for measuring your body for vintage patterns. Instructions on choosing your size based on body measurements from the late 1800s through the 1950s when corsets and girdles made women thinner.  A fittings guideline chart you can use to adjust patterns to fit tighter or looser based on your own preferences of a snug or loose fit with your clothing. Basic directions for changing the size of a garment.   KNITTING/CROCHET CONVERSION -- We also supply instructions for converting patterns from both crochet to knitting and knitting to crochet. When using the conversion, remember that you will not get the exact look of the item, but instead a comparable item because crochet and knitting stitches differ as well as the skill level of the user.  Please complete auction payment within 7 days of auction end. We will combine shipping for all items won within a 7 day period. We accept PayPal, money order, and check. The owner of Bramcost began her career as a marketing director and graphic artist with a love of books that blossomed into owning and operating a small gently used bookstore over a decade ago -- which grew into a large bookstore. Finally, the publishing house was borne with the goal of preserving hard-to-find vintage books so very important to our history and culture. Bramcost brings rare, hard-to-find and unique vintage publications back to life again for our customers to cherish for generations to come.
