We have for auction a 1 LB (16 ounce) skein of an elegant Rayon knitting crochet yarn in a classic optic white color. We do not have the exact content. We suspect it is a 100% rayon yarn. It is a very fine lace weight yarn. Garments made with this type of wool yarn can be worn year round. There are approximately 3500 yards in the 16-ounce skein. This yarn has come to us skeined and will be shipped on a skein at bargain prices; you will need patience to wind it into balls since it is a very fine yarn. We are selling this yarn for 5 times less than it was originally sold. Because of the bargain rates we cannot accept refunds. Hand knitters may want to double it to get an approximate gauge of 6 stitches using a size 4 or 5 needle. Single strand would be lace weight. It is perfect for the standard knitting machine and can get approximately 8 to 9 stitches and 12 to 13 rows per inch when used single strand on the machine. One pound of this yarn when doubled will make a sweater in a size large.
