4 ounce bottle ABOUT OUR FRAGRANCESSold By Volume, Not By Weight... All fragrances are 100% liquid concentrate and have been tested for use in candles. There are also sample sizes available with first class (cheap) shipping. Our samples sizes are our 1 oz. sizes which are also available in this store section. Why are you suggesting I buy sample sizes first? Fragrance oils come in all concentrations, can be used for hundreds of applications, and vary from company to company. For these very reasons, it is of utmost importance to purchase sample sizes prior to purchasing larger sizes. Purchasing test sizes ensure the following: 1) That the fragrance is what you expect. Even vanillas vary from company to company. 2) That the strength is what you expect. . 3) That the fragrance oil will work in your application. Also, many don't realize that smelling a fragrance out of the bottle (OOB) is NOT the most accurate way of determining fragrance quality or scent character. The ONLY accurate way is to test it by one or more of the following: 1) put it on your skin for body oils and experience the "dry down" phases and tenacity (longevity)2) put it on a test trip or blotter and experience the "dry down" phases and tenacity (longevity)3) test it in your product to see if the results are what you expected. PLEASE NOTE: All fragrance oils range in color from clear to dark brown with a few being a light blue to pink. Some oils may discolor your finished product, particularly those with vanilla/vanillin or chocolates. Please keep this in mind when adding your dyes, and make any necessary adjustments to ensure a satisfactory result. Due to varying fragrance compositions, some oils may cause clouding in transparent products such as glycerin soap or shower gel. Please test oils in your products first to determine the best result. We are not responsible for finished product that has not been tested first. Candlemaking 1 oz/lb in paraffins 3/4 oz/lb in paraffins 1/4 to 1/2 oz/lb in paraffins Soy Candlemaking 1 1/2 oz/lb.
