This is the Ashford Elizabeth spinning wheel from New Zealand. It has a hand rubbed, rich cherry finish. The spinning wheel comes with a matching Lazy Kate. Kate has three bobbins on it, and of course the bobbin on the wheel, for a total of four bobbins. It has the regular tension adjustment and also the Scotch Tension. So whichever way you prefer to adjust the tension, you have two to choose from. This spinning wheel is in excellent condition. It has the Ashford metal nameplate on its side. There is one blemish on the right, back leg. The finish has been scraped off, it is almost a 3 inch mark. The picture shows that mark. This will not effect the use of the wheel and can be covered up with stain or Old English Scratch Cover. Also the pedal does have some wear to it which I have shown in another picture. This is an elegant, smooth running wheel that will look wonderful in your home, as well as give you many years of satisfied spinning. When I ship it, I will probably partially dismantel it. If I do, I will take pictures so you know how to get the wheel back on, and include the Ashford directions for putting it together. Buyer pays $50.00 S&H, insurance is included.
