to start a new line use -->Autumn Batik Table Runner Top This pretty table runner top is made from brand new fabrics.It has lots of scraps (over 25 different prints!) from my fall leaf packet with a gorgeous green batik for contrast.Another leafy batik in tan, purple and orange makes up the first border, and I finished it off with a final border of a pretty brown print covered with cream and dark brown vines.I cut the border wide so that you can keep it as it is or trim it if you have a need for a more narrow table runner. When I cut fabric for quilts or packets I throw all the scraps to the floor (you too?)Eventually I can't see the carpet anymore so I sort them, iron them and save anything big enough to use for a 2 1/2" square. I save a lot! My BQFF Meg said last month, "Why don't you save yourself all this trouble and throw them away instead of saving them?"So I made a quilt to show her how beautiful a real scrap quilt can be!.I love this one so much I have started on another one, but this is a one-of-a-kind quilt top. It is completely unique.It is truly a scrap quilt as I made it from scraps left over from cutting squares for my packets! This auction is for the 25" by 41" table runner quilt top, no batting, backing or binding included.The fabrics are all new, pre-washed and sewn by me in my smoke-free home.It is made with high quality fabrics and excellent workmanship.
