CUSTOM SCULPTED MASTER FOR CERAMICS MOLDING. BUY IT NOW, OR BEST OFFER, please see pricing guidelines below. Please read my About ME page, all of my listings branch off of the background story listed there. (To keep this page readably short, I list footnotes at the bottom of the page.) You are buying my services as a professional sculptor, mold maker to make ONE master figure in plaster of Paris that you can make a plaster production mold from for slip casting ceramics or paper composition to enable you to produce your own ceramic figurine. (1). (I have a buy it now price up for now until I can figure out how to list multiple purchases with that have the same function; I'll relist this service everytime someone does the BIN.) All prices are negotiable, that’s what the Best Offer Price is all about; the actual price is based on what you want me to sculpt for you. If you want a simple small piece like a Rio Hondo animal, the price will be about $50.00 each, whereas if you wanted a highly detailed large Royal Doulten type piece then the cost could be $500.00 or more. Clay Art used to pay me $500.00 per pair of salt and pepper shakers, that’s 250.00 per single piece, so that gives you a good idea of what I’ll charge if you want a medium sized highly detailed sculpt like I did for the Wizard of OZ witches. Please be advised, I will NOT under any circumstances COPY or make a “reproduction in the style of†any makers work; this applies to any product in any media that I am contracted to sculpt a master figure for; doing such is unethical and unprofessional. Future Plans: I can’t make molds or case molds at this time, they’re too big , I don’t have enough work space, however once I’m in a better studio situation I’ll be able to take on larger work like that as well as such items like vases, dinnerware, cookie jars, and teapots; plus statuary for cast concrete and plaster architectural detailing. (I really want to sculpt a cookie jar, that’ll be so much fun!) Unless you request otherwise, all plaster masters will come marked with a black marker line to indicate how to make your mold separations; plus you’ll have email tech support from me if you run into any mold making problems. I’ve spent nearly twenty years as an illustrator, sculptor, and product designer, I’ve freelanced for such national companies as Clay Art, whom I sculpted about eight salt and pepper shaker sets for, like the Wizard of Oz sets, comprising a set of the Good and Bad Witches,* the set comprising Dorothy, Tin man, Cowardly Lion, and the Scarecrow; Other sets were, the fat lady opening a refrigerator, vacationing alligators, football and baseball players, and the dancing bananas which were the first set I did for them, (and they are my favorites, see the photo). I’m very proud of my Clay Art work. In the other photos, the JOL ghosty is cast paper. The skeletons are recycled plastic I made on a small manual injection molder, (3) and the white sculpt is bees wax and the green one is plasticene. *(The photo of the Oz Witches is courtesy an unknown eBay vendor, which, if I knew who it was, I’d give a photo credit for; But I’d saved the image and wanted to show you this piece of my work). I’d planned a whole line of Halloween compo candy container type figurines, cats, witches, pumpkins, a headless lady with a chopping block, (it looked like one of Henry VIII’s wives, possibly the IVth one, whatever her name was). The JOL pumpkin ghosty was the first prototype I made. (2) Timeframe. Sorry, absolutely NO rush jobs, because of my situation I’m unable to handle them and neither one of us needs the stress; if you’ve read my About ME page then you’ll understand what’s happening right now. It's pretty awful, but true; and it’s past time I rebuilt my life. Shipping: FREE!!! Payment: I accept PayPal, U.S. Postal Money Orders and Personal Checks, however your check has to clear before I ship. If you need me to delay cashing your check for a few days, that is o.k., but let me know about it. If there is a problem, we talk first; most things can be settled amicably without flames and negative feedbacks. Blessed be. blue_leader_one Footnotes. (1). If you want me to for me to make a production mold for you, or to make a case mold the charge for production molds are $65.00 each, and the case mold is $95.00 plus shipping. (2).This is the original one of a kind PUNKY! There is only this one, it took me 16 hours to cast him, it should have only taken one or two hours at best, but because I didn’t have proper heat in the room, not having a heater which was one of the more critical things I needed to produce these properly, seeing as how plaster of Paris molds only work properly when dry or they don’t absorb water out of the paper pulp & glue mixture. (3). If you look at my eBay item number: 320303973712 you’ll see that I’m also offering small run injection molding which means I can make an accessory item for whatever you produce; for example, how about a cute little farmer guy with a plastic pitchfork?
