Card Weaving is a means of weaving without a loom. This set of Card Weaving Cards has six holes giving you more weaving opportunities than the four holed cards. Card are utilized to weave bands which can be plain or patterned depending on how the cards are threaded with colored yarns and the sequence of the turns of the cards.The number of cards used to produce a pattern depends on the width of the band that is being woven and the thickness of the yarns. Weaving cards may also be used on an inkle or any other loom. These cards are six sided, measuring 4.75 inches from corner to corner and 4 inches from flat side to flat side, with six holes, one in each corner. They are made from heavy card stock 1mm thick.
