Click Here. Double your traffic. Get Vendio Gallery - Now FREE! Up for bids is a Duncan Auto Teacher Plus Kiln & stand. This kiln is a Model DA 820-2. The front is also marked KM 400. You are getting a massive lot of extra furniture and new kiln parts for the unit that I have provided supersized pictures of. This kiln has only been used a handful of times. It is in good working order. I will describe what you will be receiving: The tag gives the following info: This is a Phase I, 240 Volt kiln. The plug in is the same type that your clothes dryer is. I am told that it is not expensive to run the unit - of course more or less depending on the temp and time. The max firing temp. is 2300 degress F. It is also marked as a Cone 8 on the ID tag. It is 5760 Watts. The front of the unit has the following settings: Off, Hi-Fire, Ceramic, Overglaze. Hours of firing time from 1 to 20 hours. Manual Low, Manual High and Automatic. You will also receive the owners manual and schematics. As seen in the pics, this is a super clean unit with absolutely no residue from ceramics or any such thing inside. There The bricks inside are in superb condition. There are a couple of cracks in the brick at the bottom of the kiln, but I am told that these are normal and expected. No chips of any large size in the bricks. The inside measures 17.5" side to side and front to back. It is 20" deep. Outside the unit it very good too. See the pics. There is a couple chips on the lid brick- one is 1 and the other 2". No other damage. The cord does have electrical tape in one place. The person that owned this unit was an appliance dealer and he must have felt safe using it that way. No guarantee of safety is implied here. Replacement of the cord would be easy - do so if safety is a concern.
