FROG TREE 100% BRUSHED SURI ALPACA YARN: BLACK Untitled FROG TREE BRUSHED SURI ALPACA YARN: COLOR 012 (BLACK). The black is more of a charcoal as it has lighter fibers mixed in. USE IT FOR KNITTING, WEAVING, SCRAP BOOKING, or CROCHET. This is a 100% Suri Alpaca yarn. I love to make scarves, sweaters, lace shawls and tops with this yarn . This yarn is brushed so it is fuzzy and you can use a larger needle on the fingering weight yarn, so you garment can bloom. The yarn is 100% Brushed Suri Alpaca and weighs 1-3/4 ounces (50 gr) with 218 yards to the skein. The gauge depends on the needle size and the suggested needle sizes are 2-9. Washing Instructions: Hand wash, dry flat. I am also adding more yarns and patterns to my eBay store as I get them into my shop. So, please sure check back often! In my spare time, I raise Cotswold sheep and spin their wool. The Cotswolds are classified as a rare breed, Their beginnings are lost in time. It is known that Cotswolds have been in England since ancient Roman times over 2000 years ago. Cotswolds are noted for their long lustrous fleeces and the wealth of England during the middle ages was founded on the wool from the Cotswolds. I have several Cotswolds in my flock. I raise the sheep for their wool and do not sell them to be eaten. I will sell to other hand spinners and to people that want a a few pet sheep for lawn mowers.
