I'm pretty good with a needle. I just hate stuffing batting, so I buy the inserts that look like a pillow shape.(With batting I always end up with a terribly lumpy looking thing!) This pillow measures 17x17 from side seam to side seam, not including the lace and ruffle. The one you see is the one you get. All of the materials I have chosen for this one are in shades of green with fine floral, and fruit prints on them. The only change in color theme is the off white background, and ivory lace. I think the green thread used to stitch the leaves and flowers is a great addition to an otherwise boring ground. I don't sit down to sew something very often, only when the mood strikes me, so this is a pretty rare item in my house. I do have another hand stitched and quilted pillow sham that I will be putting up within the next few days, but I did not sew it, and I think it may have been made in multiples. (I've seen it before), but it is a beautiful patriotic 6 pointed star theme, so I'll put it up for your pleasure. Good luck, and happy bidding.
