We are very happy to hear such positive comments. This frame can be used for quilting, rug hooking, needlepoint, embroidery and cross stitching. The 14" handcrafted wooden hoop sits comfortably in your lap as demonstrated by Grama Jane Barnett (Cribben). It allows you to use both hands with ease!!! This unique lap hoop was invented by my dad (Harry) for my mother(Pauline) many years ago. It was a huge hit with the women in my mom's quilt guild and soon my dad had a little part time business in his basement workshop. Recently, I have picked up the business and have been using ebay as my outlet. Each hoop is handmade by me with extra care to detail. I start with 4' x 8' sheets of high quality finished plywoods and cut them into 14" circles. I brand each with a logo and contact phone number on the base. I install the 4 legs and the hoop with glue, screws and finish washers. Now the fun starts! I do a lot of finish sanding and apply a coat of bees wax. I give it one last inspection and then pack it up for you. It takes about an hour from start to finish for each one. So please be kind when making an offer.
