[Beware of green wood that has moisture pockets inside and will change its size and dimensions.] This cocobolo is from Nicaragua and is highly figured with lots of oranges, reds, yellows, and very dark black stripes. Nicaragua cocobolo is much harder and highly figured than Mexican Cocobolo which sells for much less as it is softer and not as highly figured. This cocobolo comes from an extremely dry part of Nicaragua along the south eastern Pacific coast and is world class!
