The Dreamer's Tapestry was published in 1982 for Cross Stitch and Quilting and is part of the Vanessa-Ann Collection. This book appears to be new and has 37 pages of designs. This retailed for $6.00. This features more than 22 designs. This book is from Utah regional Needle Artist Terrece Woodruff and Jo Buehler. This is another rare book from the Crafts Movement Artists who self-published with grants from the Guilds or sources that funded preservation of the arts, or they worked and financed their own design publications. These were typically sold at flea markets, Mall craft shows, and picked up in lots to sell at small shops that also sold crafts of all sorts. This is one of the best design books I have seen in a long time. It has a centerfold of several pages of color photos of completed designs. The grids are black and white. The second book of designs is by the American School of Needlework/1986. It is an instruction type book of designs. This book features more than 25 embroidery designs that you stitch on a ready made sweater. Many of these are border designs. 17 pages. Black and white grids. The 3rd in this lot is a Leaflet No.15 from another self-published needle Artist, Vicki Hastings called Just "Plain" Friends. The tradition of Amish dolls is that the dolls have no faces. This booklet includes a list of the "Amish" colors. Patterns are Cross Stitch and Counted Needlepoint. If you would like more pictures I will email them.
