After spending many crafting years in mosaics I have decided it’s time to move on. I am currently selling most of my broken dishes tesserae in lots. Because of the way I organize my tesserae it would be almost impossible to list the pattern or number of pieces in each bag. The more photos/patterns in each lot means there are fewer pieces of each pattern in each lot. Some lots have only 2 or 3 photos/patterns so they would have more pieces in each of those patterns than an auction that has 6 or 7 photos/patterns. Make sense? I hope so. A sample of each pattern has been photographed then then patterns individually bagged and placed in Flat Rate Boxes. Most of the boxes weigh at least 15 pounds each. I have tried to group them by similarity as much as possible so bidders who are looking for florals won’t have to get stuck with geometrics and vice versa... at least, in most cases. Most of the patterns do not have any white pieces in their bags but there are some exceptions to that.This auction has only white tesserae in it. I preferred to store my solid white tesserae separate from my prints. I also separated the white by thickness. Average thicknesses range from .14 to .23 and up (checked by caliper). They are bagged individually and each bag is marked with the thickness. There are also a couple of unmarked bags that never got sorted and one that’s lightly speckled.Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail and will cost $10.00 per box. Insurance is optional. I cannot combine shipping for these auctions since each of the boxes are too full to merge. Shipping would be far too costly to send out of the United States so U.S. bidders only please. I use Paypal-based shipping and tracking so please make sure your Email address is up to date or you will not receive notification from them.
