When I first looked at this group of fabrics so many craft ideas came in to my head that I could not even list them all. One of the big ones is this looks just like 1800’s carpet and, as you know, in those days they recycled just about everything usable. So out came the Carpet bag in all shapes, sizes, and styles - most hand made. The fat quarters are 18†by 22†approximately. So sew a lining on it, fold it over and sew together, and add a handle - you have a vintage inspired fashion bag. Want a bigger one? Sew lining onto 2 fat quarters, sew together, add a handle and, whoa, a bigger bag with both sides different. Or even quilt it before sewing it together for another new look. Now what can your imagination do
