a trusted eBay member since 2002 ELSIE'S PROJECT BAG THE STORY: This bag was named after my grandmother Elsie. Almost all the photos I have of Elsie show her in 1920s era dresses that recall the Jazz age and the flapper movement. This bag is a modern take on the concepts of the era's stylish purses and handbags. Elsie's Project Bag is an ideal bag for books, projects, or a stylish purse. Side pockets designed for carrying pens, needles, and a cell phone. THE BAG: No. 330 DESCRIPTION: --> This unique tote bag is made with a combination of Denyse Schmidt Flea Market Fancy prints. The main front fabric is Flea Market Fancy "Dotted Leaves" in Red. The back and flap are done in Flea Market Fancy "Floral Toss" in Golden Haze. I chose her Flea Market Fancy "Floral Vine " in Aqua/Gold for the handle and sides. Each side has a pocket of Flea Market Fancy "Daisy Polkadot" in Red. I added one of my Kaffe Fassett fabric covered buttons to close the top. The bag is quilted with flannel for body and lined in "Quilting Treasures" in Red with White Dots. Size 8" x 11.5" x 3", 16" tall with handles. One side pocket is 7.5" tall with a shorter 4.5" pocket on the other side, both 3" wide. Each J A. Craghead & Co. creation is a numbered, limited edition made from designer fabrics. These are not mass produced; each item is artisinally crafted in the USA in a pet-free, smoke-free environment.
