Nice Pieces of glass! ON this auction I have a Nice piece of "slag glass", I believe it is called. I am not real sure what to call this, because I have never worked with glass before. This was in some stock of the owner of a Rock Shop that we just bought out. It is a kind of a cobalt blue color from what I can tell, as it is an extremely dark glass, and is about 4 1/4 x about 2 1/2 by about 2 1/2 inches at the widest points. The lot weighs about 2 pounds 2 ounce , and was photgraphed wet & dry to show the color. There is some cool material in this lot, and I have more that I may be offering, should this sell for a reasonable price. They appear to be fairly solid. The previous owner made a lot of spheres out of this type of material, but could be used for numerous things by anyone that knows how to work glass material. I obtained this from a large rock shop that we bought out. These people have been collecting since the 50's, so these pieces are probably some pretty old stock, so get it while you can! What a huge lot of materials, that you just don't find anywhere, that would be a nice addition to anybody's collection ! What an unusual item!
