This auction is for a complete rug hooking kit hand drawn on hairless linen by Sharon Perry. It includes everything you need to complete this 12 X 16 inch Primitive Hooked Rug. It's a pretty simple design with a great mix of dyed and as is 100% wools - all brand new and stripped to a #8 size which is perfect for primitive rug hooking. It would make a great wall hanging, table centerpiece or small floor mat. . The border is done the old fashioned with with primitive darks hooked hit or miss. The crow is done in rich pitch black and the pumpkins in shades of dyed orange and pumpkin. The sky is done with mixed dyed blues and the moon with primitive dyed mustard. It comes in a very sturdy zipper lock bag which makes it easier to take out and put away at your leisure. I accept paypal, money orders and personal checks. A postage fee of 6.75 for priority mail within the U.S. or 7.75 airmail to Canada will be added to the winning bid. I do offer a postage discount if more than one item is purchased. If this is your first project I would suggest a quilting hoop frame which can be purchased at any fabric store. There are more user friendly and costly frames available, but I did my first couple of rugs on a quilting hoop and then graduated to the more expensive frame. I haven't included a hook with this kit because I find that most people interested in this hobby already have one, but if you don't and are in need of one, I have solid maple Moshimer hooks available for $6.00 with any kit purchase.
