This auction is for a complete rug hooking kit hand drawn on cotton monks cloth (2 X 2 grid) by Sharon Perry. Kit includes everything you need to complete this 8 X 10 inch Primitive Hooked Rug. It's a pretty simple design with a great mix of dyed and as is 100% wools - all brand new and stripped to a #8 size which is perfect for primitive rug hooking. It would make a table centerpiece, pillow top or wall hanging. The snowman is hooked with a lovely primitive oatmeal, his scarf with a red plaid. The tree is done with a lovely dyed green and white and the background with over dyed blues. Here's what you will receive if you purchase this kit: Color Photo of Completed Rug Comprehensive Rug Hooking Instructions Color Key # 8 Cut Wool Strips Pattern Hand Drawn on cotton monks cloth sealed at the edges to prevent fraying Rug Binding for the Finished Rug Care has been taken in the packaging of this kit. It comes in a very sturdy zipper lock bag which makes it easier to take out and put away at your leisure. I accept paypal, money orders and personal checks. A postage fee of 4.00 for first class mail within the U.S. or 4.95 airmail to Canada will be added to the winning bid. I do offer a postage discount if more than one item is purchased. If this is your first project I would suggest a quilting hoop frame which can be purchased at any fabric store. There are more user friendly and costly frames available, but I did my first couple of rugs on a quilting hoop and then graduated to the more expensive frame. I haven't included a hook with this kit because I find that most people interested in this hobby already have one, but if you don't and are in need of one, I have solid maple Moshimer hooks available for $6.00 with any kit purchase.
