This set is a rare duo made during the mid-19th century. Made of bone and dye. The word PATTY appears on the stiletto in alternating letters of red and green. The words MY LOVE appear on the bobbin in black letters. The reverse of the stiletto is patterned with alternating lines of red and green on an angle. The bobbin has lines of green on an angle. There are 5 tiger stripes of lead/pewter on the stiletto and 6 tiger stripes of lead/pewter on the bobbin. Connected to one wire with five spangles, two clear, two pink and one glass overlay bead. Measures just at 3 3/4" end to end excluding the bobbin. In very fine condition. In 30 years of collecting sewing implements this is the only duo I've ever seen.
