FREE SHIPPING IN THE USA! This is a lovely BIG Southwest Indian style Flat Basket / Bowl. THIS IS NOT MADE BY AMERICAN INDIANS. IT IS A REPRODUCTION. PLEASE SEE BELOW ON ORIGIN. Brand new & Entirely Handcrafted, this "Flat Basket" can be used as a Centerpiece Bowl, on the Wall, or on a stand for display. Lovely colors. This one is really big and is a reproduction of a Navajo Wedding Basket. Measures 14" diameter and 3" high. This is done in an EXTRA FINE COIL weave. It's just a lovely decor piece for your home. This basket comes from Pakistan where they are highly skilled at basketweaving. Rumor has it that years ago a Missionary from the American Southwest gave weavers in the Indus Valley in Pakistan a book of Native American basket designs. Fusing these new designs with a basketweaving tradition that dates back to 1,500 B.C. brought to life affordable, well crafted basketry now synonymous with local desert life - both theirs and ours. Using locally grown wild reeds and date palm, they are entirely handcrafted in various qualities. Pictures show front, back, and all detail. This is the actual basket you will receive.
