Rug Braiding Lot * Braiding Kit Fabric Strip-It & Book click picture to enlarge Welcome to my auction! Up for your consideration, I'm pleased to offer everything you need to make old-fashioned rugs, braided out of excess fabric! If learning to make rag rugs is on your winter project list, this is the lot for you! If you can braid, you can create rugs, placemats, coasters, chair seats, napkin rings, baskets, etc. All you add is the fabric and a little creativity! This is an excellent way to recycle old clothes, sewing scraps, even rag bag discards. This lot includes six metal braiders that neatly fold raw edges while you work, a metal lacer and a 20-page instruction book with patterns for four projects. I'm also including a Strip-It with the instruction book. This handy little thing is a speedy way to cut strips of fabric in uniform sizes. It's a great way to cut up larger pieces of fabric when you're needing it for rug braiding. The large pattern book is The Braided Rug Book, dated 2006, by Norma Sturges & Elizabeth Sturges. It has projects for the beginner, intermediate and advanced braider. It also includes color plans for 20 different rugs. Shipping is $6.00. I charge the highest shipping rate for the first item, and half of the quoted shipping rate for any additional items. Insurance is always available and is an option added to your payment invoice.
