I find the Singer bias gauge to be the perfect tool for this task. So fun to use! The binder has a wonderful measuring gauge on the side. This allows you to cut your bias strip perfectly to fit your binder. Slide into the center scroll. You can also use pre-folded binding in the slit on the side. After sliding in your bias strip, take a couple of stitches to hold and then slide your material to be bound into the center. Begin sewing. Don't worry - I will send you my personal instructions full of photos to help you. Use the binder to create button loops or bound embellishments.... This is the multi-slotted binder (not the one you will recieve). If you are interested in this type, please check our store listings. The two pins guide your fabric. Note the stiletto showing where to place your material to be bound and the bias strip. I now have a beautifully bound pocket on my vintage apron!
