We saved this little ram lamb for breeding because his mom has our best Shetland fleece. This is his first shearing and the fleece weight is one pound with an average staple length of 2 1/2 inches. The wool is skirted and picked free of large debris and second cuts but it is not washed. A very nice soft crimpy fleece with lots of spring!
