They serve two functions-support for the body and an attachment point for the 30" shoulder strap. However, the pretty button closure, unique to each tote, is the defining element. Hence the name, "The BUTTON BAG".This is an ideal size tote for small projects you want to bring along to keep idle hands occupied throughout your day. The overall width is 13", heigth 10", depth 3",so it is large enough for project, one skein of yarn and needles (or crochet hook). It has a six inch side opening that secures with a magnetic snap, and is fully lined with four interior, slip pockets. The bottom of the bag is decorated with contrasting piping, and to complete the design I have included a unique button closure for each tote.
