You are bidding on a gorgeous, Victorian (Circa 1860-90) Tatting Shuttle. The shuttle is black with a Mother-of-Pearl inlay on the top. The floral inlay is in perfect condition, except for one tiny piece missing, but it does not take away from the shuttle's beauty. I have marked the photo to show you the missing piece, but it is more visible in the enlarged photo than to the eye. I would consider this a tiny flaw given the shuttle's age.The shuttle is in excellent condition otherwise, with no chips and tight tips. A gem for any tatter or shuttle collector. It is black with grain, and has a shiny finish; it is either dyed bone or ivory.
