ehrlict Store Cone Yarn My craft room is just about cleaned out, but I've discovered I like buying cone yarns and winding it into skeins that the average knitter can use. Cone yarns are just like the skein yarns for hand knitting, but are in continuous lengths for machine knitting or weaving. Often they have a sizing to make them easier to use for machine knitting and weaving, but that washes out with a soak in Woolite or gentle soap. For wool, I find a gentle shampoo and touch of cream rinse do wonders! After all, wool is hair! I can often find unusual yarns not available as skeins, and because they are bought in bulk, they can be sold for much less than they would cost in a knitting shop. This auction is for Zegna Baruffa / Borgosesia "Mousse" yarn. The name says it all. I've never seen such fluffy, soft, unique loopy yarn. It is a wine red, with a dark binder. It is 73% extrafine merino wool, 24% polyamide, and 3% Elastane, which gives it a stretch. Garments made of this would not lose their shape. It would knit as a fingering or sport weight. Weight of each skein: 30 grams Yards per skein: 348 Number of skeins available: 10 NOTE: If you win more than one skein, I will often wind the yarn into double-weight skeins. It makes fewer knots for the knitter, and saves me time in winding. If you do not want double skeins, please let me know at the end of the auction. In recent weeks, I've been dinged for slow shipping time. I ship within 48 hours of receiving cleared payment. Please don't penalize me for geography. Washington is on the far west coast. If you are on the east coast, it will take longer for your package to arrive. If you want it quickly, then consider priority mail. I have noticed that lately parcel post is taking much longer than the USPS estimate. If this is a multiple item auction, please read this! When you bid in a multiple item (dutch) auction, the price you bid is per item, NOT for the total. If you want two items, please still place the bid price for one, then indicate in the proper field how many you want. Read eBay's tutorial on multiple auctions if you are unfamiliar with them. If you win more than one lot, please wait for your invoice before paying, as shipping charges will change. FAQ'S: 1. When and how do I want to be paid? I will accept PayPal (preferred), money orders, and cashiers' checks. Please do not send cash or personal checks. I ask that the buyer notify me within 48 hours of the end of the auction with payment information, and let me know if they are bidding on any more of my auctions. PayPal payments are due within 3 days of the end of the auction; MO and CC must reach me within 8 days of the end of the auction. If you cannot meet these conditions, please do not bid. In past weeks, the percentage of slow or non-paying bidders has risen, and I must be firm. 2. Will I combine shipping? Yes, I will, for auctions that end within 5 days of one another. The same payment rules apply. Please wait for the invoice if you win more than one item. eBay just adds everything together, resulting in a much higher shipping charge. I charge a small handling fee (usually $1.00, more for larger packages), and this is added to the total cost for the package, not for each item. Packaging materials and gasoline are not cheap. I package my items as well as I can to prevent damage, but I cannot be responsible for any damage or loss during shipping. Please purchase insurance if this is a concern. 3. Will I ship internationally? I will. Please email me during the auction, and I will send a shipping estimate. The buyer will be responsible for any duties or fees. I'm sorry, but I cannot send packages to Italy through the postal system. Too many are lost or stolen. I try to please all of my customers, and want their experience to be the best possible. If there is a problem at any time during this process, please email me with your concerns. Powered by eBay Turbo ListerThe free listing tool.
