The Free 6 mm CZ comes in 6different color choices and is gorgeous fired in place. It can withstand the heat of the kiln and doesn't change color. You can choose from red, paparascha, amethyst, citrine, pink and champagne. I will also send you a free texture sheet with each package of clay you purchase. When Art Clay Silver is taken out of the package, it is a slightly moist lump of clay, composed of silver powder, organic binders, and water. The clay is then impressed, sculpted, or molded into its desired shape, and dried. After completely drying, the clay is fired with a gas stovetop, butane torch, or kiln. During the firing process, the organic binders burn away and the resulting silver particles "sinter", becoming denser and stronger. The burning away of binders and sintering of metal causes the piece to shrink 8% in overall size. Once completely fired, the remaining piece is composed of 99.9% pure silver. Low Fire Art Clay Silver can be fired as low as 1200ºF; perfect for use with glass. Shrinkage is only 8-9%, the lowest ever. Glass colors stay true, no yellowing, and little movement. Fires a wider variety of gemstones, sterling silver findings and settings can easily be incorporated into your projects. The creative possibilities of this medium are endless.
